By joining Tidio as Head of Finance, you’ll have the opportunity to shape how finance supports a fast-growing SaaS business — not just keep the numbers in order. You won’t be starting from scratch: our core finance processes are already in place, giving you the space to focus on business partnering, deeper analysis, and helping the company make better decisions. With no CFO in our structure, you’ll be a key finance partner to the business and C-level, turning financial insights into recommendations and helping shape decisions across the company.
You’ll join our six-person Finance & Operations team and directly manage a three-person team covering controlling and accounting, while working closely with the wider organization on budgeting, cash flow, business performance, and strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to our Chief of Staff, you’ll combine hands-on financial expertise with the ability to zoom out, understand the business, challenge assumptions, and advise on what we should do next.
As the Head of Finance, you will:
Act as a strategic finance partner to C-level and business leaders, bringing financial perspective to key decisions, challenging assumptions, and turning data into clear recommendations.
Manage a three-person team covering controlling and accounting, ensuring high-quality financial operations and clear ownership across the function.
Own budgeting and forecasting, working closely with teams across the organization to understand their plans, challenge assumptions, and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
Develop financial reporting around key SaaS metrics and use it to help the business understand performance, identify inefficiencies, and make better decisions.
Assess the profitability and financial impact of growth and development initiatives, providing recommendations on where and how to invest.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend and implement actions to improve cost efficiency, partnering with other teams to drive sustainable improvements.
Own cash flow management and FX hedging, including cash flow forecasting, cash operations, and FX risk management.
Partner with the Tax Manager on tax-related projects and decisions, contributing financial and business perspective and ensuring tax considerations are properly reflected in broader financial decisions.
Maintain accounting structures across the group and optimize them when needed.
Oversee the capitalization of intangible assets (WNIP) and ensure it is handled appropriately from an accounting perspective.
Job requirements
You are the perfect fit if you have:
At least 3 years of experience as a Head of Finance or in a similar senior finance role working in fast-scaling companies.
Strong business partnering experience, with a track record of working closely with upper management across the organization and bringing financial perspective to business decisions.
Strategic thinking and strong decision-making skills, with the ability to be a sparring partner to C-level and provide clear, well-reasoned recommendations.
A hands-on mindset and a willingness to get into the details, while also being able to step back, see the bigger picture, and recommend practical solutions.
Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management, with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful business insights.
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, including building and working with forecasting models.
Very good knowledge of cash management and accounting.
A good understanding of statutory tax requirements in Poland, with enough tax awareness to engage in meaningful discussions with the Tax Manager.
Good knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
Fluent English for day-to-day business and finance communication.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in the SaaS industry.
Experience with payment processor reconciliations.
Familiarity with US GAAP.
We would like to offer you:
Be part of a Polish-founded company operating globally at the forefront of AI-powered customer service — our ML team was among the first in the world to launch an AI agent (Lyro) for customer service.
A unique opportunity to build on a strong finance foundation and help take the business to the next level — from keeping the numbers right to driving growth, while being a true strategic partner to C-level and investors.
A high-impact role with real ownership, where your recommendations can shape major strategic decisions and have a lasting impact on the business.
A flat internal structure, with plenty of space to make decisions, challenge the status quo, and turn your ideas into action.
Work closely with C-level and business leaders who are driven by results, focused on creating real value, and passionate about building products that are meaningful to our customers and the market.
